THE LARGE CAP OGS
Our BTC and ETH holdings rising together 😹
The foundation to a strong crypto portfolio? Strong crypto projects that have proven themselves, are already well respected, and tend to lead the market. (Duh! But what does that mean?) We’re looking at you Top 10 Market Cap Babes. 😉
Our personal preference is Ethereum — we know it has a strong ecosystem and there are already many projects built off it (with more to come.) We also tend to favor ongoing investments in Ethereum over Bitcoin as it’s transitioning from proof of work to proof of stake — which is less energy intensive. Bitcoin is an essential coin and provides strong support for your portfolio. Although all crypto is volatile, Bitcoin has a tendency to have more stable ‘dips’ than other alt-coins (particularly low cap alts).
For those newly getting into crypto, both BTC and ETH are strong first-time picks. (As a refresher, even though we’re calling it ‘an OG’ here — ETH is technically considered an alt in the market.)
Where do we (personally) stand on the OGs? Ethereum — at the moment — makes up 18% of our total portfolio, while Bitcoin makes up 2.5%.

B2B solutions making major moves
We love good enterprise solutions and seeing how blockchain is being adopted IRL and in mega large-scale ways. (Have you checked out our Blockchain IRL highlight on our Instagram profile yet?)
One of our top picks (and a major player in our portfolio is VeChain (VET). VeChain is a proof-of-authority cryptocurrency that offers enterprise solutions and is designed to optimize supply chain management. It runs on its own unique blockchain and uses a secondary token (VeThor) as the gas for transactions. VeChain has already partnered with Walmart, LVMH, and DHL.
While not *technically* considered an enterprise solution, one of our long-standing investments in the Basic Attention Token and uses of Brave Browser — which has benefits for both b2b and b2c users.

The Feminine urge to dominate Web3, are we right? We’re going long on DeFi and Web3 coins + tokens.
DeFi products (like staking and liquidity pool solutions) will continue to grow and optimize over time. Legislation as these sectors grow could always create some FUD (fear and doubt) in the market but there are so many blockchain and smart contract applications — like NFTs and DAOs — that continue to grow, we’re betting our ETH here. 📈
